What is included in my session fee?

Your session fee covers your session planning appointment, styling guidance, use of studio, props, outfits, etc. (where applicable), ensures your requested session date and time on my calendar and your in-person gallery reveal & ordering appointment. ***PLEASE NOTE SESSION FEES DO NOT INCLUDE DIGITAL FILES OR PRINTS. ***

When is my session fee due?

Your session fee is due within 48 hours of receiving your booking proposal to ensure your session date and time. Due to high demand dates that are not reserved with a paid session fee within 48 hours are released for other bookings.

What is a print release?

A print release gives you permission to print your images at the photo lab of your choice for personal use only (unless stated otherwise in your contract). You are allowed only to print your images. They may not be altered in any way (including converting to black and white or used with filters). Images also may not be used in contests or advertisements for other businesses/photographers.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my planning appointment, session, or reveal/ordering appointment?

I am a busy mom of three, so I understand that things unexpectedly come up. All session fees are non-refundable. However, sessions may be rescheduled, and your deposit transferred one time from the original date (unless it is due to weather). If a session is cancelled a second time the session fee is forfeited, and you will be required to pay a new session fee to book a future session. If you are a no-show or cancel last minute you may be required to pay an additional fee to book future appointments/sessions. Anyone that cancels a session and/or an appointment 3 times will not be allowed to book again.

 

What if I am running late to my session?

Please let me know if this occurs. If you are running late the time may be deducted from you allotted session time because I sometimes have multiple session back to back. Obviously, there are exceptions that will be honored at my discretion.

When can I expect to receive my edited images?

We will book your in-person gallery reveal & ordering appointment usually within 15 business days from your session date. It can vary depending on the season and because I am a wife and mother first. I try my best to stick to my estimated timeline, but things occasionally come up that cannot be helped. I will keep you informed if this is the case. Thank you for your patience!

What if I need my images sooner than your usual turnaround time?

I do my best to be accommodating to the needs of my clients. Depending on the season, rush deliver options are available. Simply bring this up in your planning appointment.

How long will my gallery be available online?

I will send you an online gallery after your reveal/ordering appointment so you can easily share your images with family and friends. I generally try to leave the link to your gallery active for 14 days. After this time, I begin deleting previous galleries to make room for new sessions. Please download your entire gallery when you receive it. I do try to notify clients before deleting galleries but cannot guarantee that I won't miss one. There will be a $50 charge to reload a gallery IF I still have the images stored. I do not guarantee I will have images stored greater than 1 year from your session.

Where can I print my images?

I highly recommend ordering printed art pieces through the studio. I use one of the absolute best professional photo labs in the country. They produce high quality products made from exceptional materials. Products are rich in color, are laminate coated and UV protected. They are fade and scratch resistant and if cared for properly will last 100+ years. If your purchase includes a digital print release you can print at any photo lab of your choice. Just keep in mind that the quick-print photo labs will compress the files and greatly decrease the color and quality of the images. I only guarantee printed pieces ordered through the studio.
