For a fully pampered experience, we encourage you to add professional hair and makeup to your session to ensure you look and feel your best. You can also take advantage of our ever-growing client closet for the perfect looks for your session.
A pre-session planning appointment - we will walk through all the details together to plan your dream photo session. We will cover everything from what you should wear for your family shots to the background choices! We will also discuss any printed products you may be interested in displaying in your home.
Customized Session - every session we shoot is unique and tailored to our clients. We take pride in our attention to detail and take great care to accomplish your vision. We will give you tips on posing for the most flattering look. And don't worry, we will send you tips on how to prepare for a successful session.

I don’t believe that portrait photography is one-size-fits-all! The first step towards working with me is determining if we're a good match! Simply contact me and share a bit about yourself and the services you're looking for. If we’re a match made in heaven and then we’ll move on to the booking process!

SAVING YOUR SESSION DATE
Yay!! You were made to be a Laura Miller Photography client! Now let’s make sure your date is safe and secure so that we can start planning!!! I will send you a custom online booking proposal where you can review your session details, sign your agreement and pay your session fee to make everything officially official! Now that you’re officially booked, it’s time to get started!!

STEP THREE:
CONSULTATION & PLANNING
Let the fun begin! After you book, we’ll schedule your planning appointment where we will discuss your expectations and plan how we will accomplish your vision. You can try on gowns from my client closet and find the perfect vibe for your session.

STEP FOUR:
YOUR SESSION
Time for your session! And don’t worry...I realize being in front of the camera isn't everyone's favorite. I will guide you through EVERYTHING! I love helping you feel comfortable and relaxed, and I promise after the first 5-10 minutes of your session, you will be pros. GUARANTEED. That's all the time we need to shake the nerves and start capturing those natural smiles and genuine connection!

STEP FIVE:
IN-PERSON GALLERY REVEAL/ORDERING APPOINTMENT
EEEEKKK....this is the exciting part! We will meet again at the studio 1-2 weeks after your session. You will see your beautiful images and will be able to choose your favorites. We will go through the product options together to find the perfect pieces to showcase your memories.

A custom maternity photography session to celebrate the beauty of motherhood. Maternity sessions are shot on location or in our beautiful Prattville Portrait Studio. Choose the perfect gowns from our client closet or bring your own outfits that makes you feel beautiful.
Average duration: 1-2 hours.
PLEASE NOTE SESSION FEES DO NOT INCLUDE DIGITAL FILES OR PRINTED PRODUCTS.

Book both a Maternity and Newborn Session and receive a $50 discount.
I highly recommend having professional hair & makeup done for your session. Why not get pampered and add a touch of elegance to your photos. With this on mind, I've teamed up with a couple of exceptionally skilled local hair and makeup artists to provide you with a touch of luxury before your session, all at an exclusive rate. You have the option to include professional hair and makeup services in any session for just $125.

When is the best time to schedule a maternity photo session?
The ideal time for a maternity session is typically between 28 to 34 weeks of pregnancy when your baby bump is beautifully round, and you are still comfortable enough for a photoshoot.
