Baby lovers, today I have the distinct pleasure of introducing you to baby Nora, who's officially 13 days new!
I think we can all agree: her sweet face should earn her a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I'm practically melting from cuteness overload!
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, Nora and I had one of the best sessions together. Her mom, Danielle, followed my newborn session prep tips perfectly. Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together.
Ms. Nora settled in pretty quickly. And when she wasn't sleeping, she was happily snacking with mom. She was a dream baby and I couldn't help but steal some baby snuggles!
“My favorite part was that Laura makes it so easy to get your picture taken, which can sometimes feel awkward. It felt like having a family friend take your photos, it was a no-pressure fun time. Plus, she was also incredibly careful and delicate with our baby that I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all handing baby over and stepping back and letting Laura do her thing,” says Danielle.
Because the shoot went so well, I asked Danielle if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session. Her biggest piece of advice is: “Be patient, expect it to take a little longer than expected, but know that it is so worth it! I was very nervous for the inevitable newborn cries or accidents but poop happens. Don’t feel bad about it.”
Without further adieu, Ms. Nora
