When you book with Laura Miller Photography, we will walk through the entire process together to find the perfect pieces to showcase your memories! Clients love the flexibility of our Create-A-Collection packages. You have the freedom to create your perfect portrait package of the images you love the most from your session. Whatever fits your style, from stunning wall art and handcrafted albums, you only take home what you absolutely love with help from an expert every step of the way. That means you're not left to figure it out on your own AND you're not forced into a purchase that you don't want!
All of our print products are made of museum-grade archival materials to guarantee the lifespan of your products and the priceless memories they hold. STEP ONE: HI FRIEND! TELL ME A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.
We don’t believe that portrait photography is one-size-fits-all! We serve a very specific type of client who recognizes that if they want bright, joyful, and genuine portraits, then they need more than just pretty pictures. They need an incredible EXPERIENCE! The first step towards working with us is determining if we're a good match! Simply contact us and tell us a bit about yourself and the services you're looking for. STEP TWO:
SAVING YOUR SESSION DATE
Yay!! You were made to be a Laura Miller Photography client! Now let’s make sure your date is safe and secure so that we can start planning!!! We will send you a custom online booking proposal where you can review your session details, sign your contract and pay your session fee to make everything officially official! Now that you’re officially booked, it’s time to get started!!

STEP THREE:
CONSULTATION & PLANNING
Let the fun begin! After you book, we’ll schedule your planning appointment where we will discuss your expectations and plan how we will accomplish your vision. We will go over styling tips for looking absolutely amazing for your photos. We will also share the details of all the museum-quality printed products we offer. If you choose to meet for your consultation in the studio, you will have a chance to see and feel many of my sample products we have in house. We can customize your session further based on the products you wish to purchase to display in your home.

STEP FOUR:
YOUR SESSION
Time for your session! And don’t worry...we realize being in front of the camera isn't everyone's favorite. We guide you through EVERYTHING! We love helping you feel comfortable and relaxed, and we promise after the first 15-20 minutes of your session, you will be pros. GUARANTEED. That's all the time we need to shake the nerves and start capturing those natural smiles and genuine connection.

STEP FIVE:
IN-PERSON GALLERY REVEAL/ORDERING APPOINTMENT
EEEEKKK....this is the exciting part! We will meet again at the studio 1-2 weeks after your session for your in-person gallery reveal and ordering appointment. You will see your beautiful images larger than life on our TV screen. You will be able to choose your favorites and we will go through the product options together to find the perfect pieces to showcase your memories.

Session Fees
Maternity Photography Session | $200
A custom maternity photography session to celebrate the beauty of motherhood. Maternity sessions are shot on location or in our beautiful Prattville studio. Choose the perfect gowns from our client closet or bring your own outfits that make you feel beautiful. Up to 3 different looks are included in your session fee.
Average duration: 1.5 hours.
Studio Newborn Photography Session | $300
A uniquely tailored studio newborn photography session, including sibling & family portraits (if desired), and a variety of classic newborn poses of your sweet new baby. We include a mix of props and poses for a variety of looks to choose from. Sessions are baby-led, ensuring a calm and soothing experience.
Average duration: 2-4 hours.
In- Home Newborn Photography Session | $350
Capture the precious moments of your newborn's first days in the comfort of your own home with our in-home newborn session. Our experienced photographer will create a warm and inviting atmosphere to capture those intimate moments with your precious family. In-home sessions are more lifestyle or natural versus posed shots.
Average duration: 1-2 hours.
Fresh 48 Photography Session | $475
Fresh 48 sessions are a beautiful way to capture the first moments of a newborn's life. These sessions take place within the first 48 hours of the baby's arrival, while still in the hospital. The images captured during this time are raw, emotional, and truly special. Let us help you preserve these precious memories with a Fresh 48 session. (Fresh 48 sessions do include 10 digital files with the option to purchase additional files if desired.)
Average duration: 1 hour or less.
Family or Child Photography Session | $200
A fully customized session on location within the city of Prattville or the surrounding river region. Enjoy a fun-filled, relaxed session while you are guided into beautiful poses and prompted with fun activities to counteract those cheesy grins.
Average duration: 1 hour.
Senior Photography Session | $200
A fully personalized session that highlights your unique personality and interests. Senior sessions are shot on location or in our beautiful Prattville studio. Choose up to two locations for a variety of looks!! Enjoy a fun-filled, relaxed session while you are guided into beautiful poses and prompted with fun activities to let your personality shine. Bring along some of your favorite things and even your pets!
Average duration: 1.5 hours.
Sessions fees hold your date on our calendar and include the entire creative process of designing your dream photoshoot. Digital files and products are purchased separately. Please contact the studio for a full price list.
Print and Product Collections
Our print collections are fully customizable to meet your specific needs. We offer a range of boutique and heirloom quality folio boxes, wall art, albums, and digital files that are exceptional in quality. Our studio's zero-risk, no-obligation service ensures that you will be completely satisfied with your session, and you only purchase what you love. This is what sets us apart from the rest, and we take pride in providing this service to our clients.
Book any two sessions together and receive a $50 discount.
Add professional hair and makeup to any session for $125.
